Due To Processing Problems Needlepoint Canvases Will Be Charged Upon Order Acceptance No Matter Shipping Time. Updated 8/19/16

Q.  Payment?  A.  We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Paypal,  and Money Orders (USPS Preferred).  Paypal appears on the shopping cart page.  We do not see Credit Card numbers or have the abitlity to do so.  Upon ordering, a customer provides an authorization for payment.  Payments are processed when items are ready to ship or being parepared for shipment.  EXCEPTION:   for orders with a shipping time over 30 days, due to authorizations timing out, customers will be charged near to the 30 day mark.

Q:  Shipping costs? A: $ 3.00 to all US Addresses, territories, and possessions.  Free to US military addresses (Shipping fee will appear in checkout, but be deducted prior to requesting funds).  Non-US Addresses: Standard shipping is USPS priority mail insured or USPS registered mail. The NeedleArt Closet will determine which will be used. Yes it is expensive, but such methods provide both tracking and insurance.  If insurance is not available for a particular country orders will not be accepted to that country.  For non-US Addresses shipping and handling is set at a maximum price;  Depending on actual shipping and handling costs there may be a partial refund of mailing fee. For shipments to Russia and countries where insurance coverage ceases at some point in transit, usually when the package is no longer in US hands, at that point the customer is fully responsible for any losses.  The NeedleArt Closet is not responsible for International customers customs charges, duties or taxes that apply to their shipment.  The shipping and handling fee may exceed the actual postage amount.

Q: Shipping time:
A:  Most items ship within 14 business days ((Saturday, Sunday and holidays excluded). Allow 1-12 weeks for canvas. 1 to 4 weeks for Cross Stitch Kits. If you need immediate shipping please email us prior to ordering.  These times are not guaranteed.  The United States Postal Service is the preferred carrier.

Q.  Order Acceptance?  A:  An order is not accepted until funds are requested and received. Examples of when an order will not be accepted: No response to emails, authorization is rejected, item is out of stock with no known stocking date, Item has been retired.  Note:  We try to keep our 100,000 plus catologue current,  but sometimes an item is discontinued or out of print without notification.    

Q: Back Orders, Out Of Stock Items?  A:  Back ordered items will be noted on your invoice.  As soon as the item(s) are received, we will ship.  Backordered shipments are not charged additional shipping.  The customer will be charged for the total amount  and the resulting credit will be used when the backordered item is shipped. If an item is out of stock and can not be reordered we will note that on your invoice and ship the remaining items.  For international customers back ordered items must be re-ordered and additional shipping costs will occur.

Q: Shipping?  A: We ship USPS and take responsibility for any lost or damaged items with the exception noted. (Damaged items must be returned for our inspection prior to any refund including return shipping cost). Note:  If USPS tracking states item has been delievered or notice for pick up left, the NeedleArt Closet is no longer responsible for any lost or missing packages.  

Q: Returns?   A: Return Policy: 1. Due to copyright restrictions No returns or exchanges on patterns, needlepoint canvas, books, or special order items. 2. The return mailing date must be no later than 14 days of receipt. Be sure to return using delivery confirmation and packaged to avoid damage. 3. Items must be returned in new condition, not opened, used, no bends or creases, odorless (i.e. no pet or smoke smell), and no pet hairs. 4. If returned in other then new condition, no refund will be issued. 5. Please call or e-mail to notify us of the return. 6. Only un-opened skeins, hanks, spools or cards of threads may be returned. Accessories will be refunded only if they are sealed in their original packaging. Unless an error on the NeedleArt Closets part there is no refund of shipping fee.   If an item is returned for exchange - additional shipping will be charged.

Q: Ordering Thread With Canvas?
A: If you would like to have thread with a canvas, just email and we can arrange for that.

Q: Restocking And Cancellation Fee? A:  1   A 50% restocking fee on all canvases ordered and then cancelled by customer more than 24 orders after ordering.  The website makes  clear  Canvas time frame for shipping. Time frames stated above and on the main page of website.    2.  A 50% restocking fee will be deducted if a shipment is returned for such reasons as customer provided an invalid shipping address, customer failed to claim the package, customer failed to provide the post office with a forwarding address  In addition on such scenarios the shipping fee-actual or the standard shipping fee whichever is greater will not be refunded so refund will be less than 50% of payment.  Before a package is resent customer will be required to pay an additional actual shipping fee. 3.  A 50% restocking fee for any item returned due to the customer failing to ask an obvious question such as customer sought a certain thread dyelot # and didn't let The NeedleArt Closet know this prior to ordering. 

Q:  Typographical Errors?  A:  In the event a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, The NeedleArt Closet reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. The NeedleArt Closet  reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, a credit shall issue to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

We will do our best to honor prices as stated unless there is a pricing error such as $1.00 should be $100.00 or their has been a dramatic increase in price. in such cases we wil decline the order.
