The black and yellow thread really pops giving this young buck a fresh but classic look. And he's super fun to stitch too! Made using only introductory embroidery stitches, this portrait style has lots of texture and visual interest. It incorporates lots of single stitches and backstitch (easy peasy), but also a few detached chains (link) and a little satin stitch.
