From a very young age, Susan B. Anthony demonstrated that she was proficient with a needle and thread. Around the age of eleven, Susan stitched a sampler that has been described as a "...fine specimen of needlework with the family record surrounded by a wreath of strawberries all carefully wrought in crewels." (Harper, Life and Work of Susan B. Anthony, Volume 1, 1898.) This cross stitch project is an adaptation of her original sampler design.; 11.5" x 12.5"; Aida; 14ct
