Mojo Stitches Counted Cross Stitch Pattern, A new Australian Designer.
In the C and D blocks, stitchers get to stitch a dodo, a camel, a chateau, a drum and lots of other alphabet goodness.
Please note: while these are quite sturdy, they are intended as decorative items only and are not safe for young children's play.
Finishing instructions: https://mojostitches.com/2021/09/08/alphabet-block-tutorial/ the technique is similar to a biscornu. Alternatively, stitchers could stitch two of the 'sides' next to each other as a little pinpillow or all of them as a framed piece.
Stitch count: 105w x 140h (each block).
Model stitched on 32-count "Platinum" by Zweigart. For the "C" block Cottage Garden Threads JK09 Candlestick & DMC 433 (full DMC conversion included). For the "D" block, CGT JK20 Scandalous & DMC 3042.
The designs used full crosses over 2, some backstitches, a few Smyrna Stitches and optional Satin stitch. Whip-stitch is used for the finishing. Can be stitched on Aida.
